These classes will be using the FaithWeaver curriculum by Group Publishing. This curriculum will also be used by the adult Sunday school class Families in God. By using the same curriculum, we will be growing families, not just individuals, in the Word of God! The children will learn the Bible story and the basic Kingdom principle from the Bible while the parents learn the Bible story and it’s application to their family dynamics and daily functioning. Dinner conversations and car rides to and from school and extra curricular activities will be enhanced by discussion of the week’s Sunday school lesson. What a fantastic way to bring our families together!

Women's Ministry invites you to participate in a 10-week, in-depth bible study beginning in September that will show how Esther's life applies to our lives today. Workbooks are $15. Contact the office for more information.

The Outreach Committee is sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast on Sun., June 3, from 7:30-11:30 am. A free-will offering will be collected for the Salvation Army. In conjunction with the breakfast, a Food Drive will be held to help restock the Salvation Army's Food Pantry. Non-perishable food items (peanut butter, jellies, cereals, pastas, canned meats) may be dropped off in the Gathering Area on Sun., June 3 and 10.

"The SKY's the limit" for this year's Vacation Bible School to be held Mon. thru Fri., June 11–15, 9:00 am – Noon.

Children 5-5th grade will learn to trust God for everything – NO matter who you are, NO matter how you feel, NO matter what you do, NO matter what happens, NO matter where you are. TRUST GOD...'cause with God, EVERYTHING is possible!

Registration begins May 6. Packets will be on the Registration Table in the Gathering Area and in the display case outside the CCED office in the Ed Wing. You may download the registration forms on the Vacation Bible School page.

If you would like to donate plants of any kind, just drop them off in the FCC Courtyard on Thurs., May 17, or Fri., May 18. 

This national Disciples Men's weekend will be July 13-15 at Bethany College.

CMF is organizing a group caravan to this event. Register at www.gathering2012.org.

We continue our tradition of adorning the church in a blaze of red geraniums for Pentecost on May 27. Geraniums will be planted in the church gardens after Pentecost. Order forms are available in the Gathering Area. Deadline to order is May 20 and payment is due with your order. 

When we serve others, we say with our hearts that we care about them. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Galatations 5:14.

Fellowship and Outreach for 3rd-5th graders, meeting the third Sunday of the month, October - May, in Fellowship Hall. God's Kids Club meets at 10:30 am and Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) meets from Noon - 2:00 pm. If you are in 3rd - 5th grade, come join the fun.
