Adult Christian Education is an integral part of faith development. It provides time for us to grow in faith, learn more through God’s Word, and to be strengthened by Christian fellowship. When you walk into the Adult Fellowship Class, the first thing you will notice is the aroma of freshly brewed coffee to which you are more than welcome. The next thing you will notice is a welcoming group of people, some of whom may be the age of your parents, and others young enough to be your children, depending on where you are on your life journey. The class is a fellowship/discussion class which leans toward contemporary topics that provide an opportunity for thoughtful discussion and enlightenment. While the class members represent a wide range of political views, we try to concentrate on looking at current issues through the prism of our Christian beliefs and biblical teachings. Every time someone new joins our class, we all improve in our faith journey. We look forward to benefiting from your ideas, your feelings and your imagination, and we will try to return the favor.
Leaders: Chris Helton and Clint Messner

The class will start the year off studying the book of John, which give clear evidence that Jesus is the Son of God and that by believing in Him we may have eternal life. Please join us in making joyful music to our Lord and spending time in His Word.

Our class consists of various ages (30 somethings to 70+), backgrounds, and Bible knowledge. The class is a 100 level class where we keep things basic while working to increase our Bible familiarity. The class is a non-threatening, prepare-as-much-as-you-choose-to class where you always have the option to “pass” on any discussion. We laugh often, pray for each other’s needs, and enjoy the fellowship of other believers. We will study the books of Ephesians and Philippians this year using the Life Guide Bible Study – 101 at the most. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

The diversity of the group makes for a very special and unique class of men and women. ‟The Adult Bible Studies’ curriculum is used in seeking the Scriptures, as they try to understand and apply the Scriptures to their daily lives. The lessons often follow the text from which the sermon is taken so this class, not only develops one's faith and Bible knowledge, but also aids in enriching Worship.
