Electronic Giving

First Christian Church invites you to consider our electronic giving program as a way to automate your regular Private Promise giving to the church.

Electronic giving offers convenience for you and it’s a way of giving consistently to the church. It reduces both volunteer and staff time preparing and recording deposits, and it reduces the likelihood of errors. You can now give even when you’re not able to attend services.

By completing an authorization form, you authorize the church to withdraw funds from your checking or savings account and transfer those funds to First Christian Church’s bank account. We will make the transfers either weekly or monthly as you direct us. You may also direct us to make the four special holiday offerings for you as well.

As we do when you use envelopes, we ask that you consider making an “initial offering” of $3.00 to cover the transaction costs ($.25 per transaction) for monthly giving, and $13.00 to cover our costs for weekly giving. You can designate this on your authorization form, also.

If you want to continue to participate in the symbolic act of giving you can receive “offering plate cards” (a slip of paper/card that says “I give electronically”) upon request.
