Giving

Giving is an essential part of being a Christian. Here at First Christian Church, we take part in a "Private Promise", which is a promise to God that we will support the Church through a planned and regular offering. Only you and God will know what you promise to give during the year. We now accept electronic giving, as well as envelopes for the offering plate.

We have recently created the Legacy Foundation, which is a new avenue for the receipt and management of gifts through wills, bequests and other estate planned giving.

Although it is an Outreach project, we include the Month of Compassion in our giving. Each year for the whole month of February, we have a special offering for Month of Compassion. We set time aside each Sunday to learn how the money we raise will be used that year to alleviate the suffering of others through disaster response, humanitarian aid, and the promotion of mission opportunities.
