Women's Ministry is the Women's group at First Christian Church, Wadsworth. All women of the church are automatically part of Women's Ministry, even if they are not official members of the church. To better understand our purpose, please see our Mission Statement.
The Women's Ministry Team consists of Laurie Thomas (Team Leader), Cindy Farver, Kate Gray, Dawn Holt, Kim Krzic and Karen Rule. The staff liaison is Rev. Nancy Dunn.
The last two Book Discussions for Women's Ministry will be on Tuesday, July 30 and October 29 at 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
On July 30, Kate Gray will be leading us through "A Year of Biblical Womanhood," a non-fiction book, by blogger Rachel Held Evans. Learn more about the book HERE. Let us know you're attending the Book Discussion HERE!
Is there a topic you would love to study with Women's Ministry? Have you heard about a Bible Study that sounds interesting to you? We would LOVE to hear your suggestions!
You can make a suggestion on the Women's Ministry Facebook page (here); email Laurie Thomas, the Team Leader (here); or just tell anyone on the Women's Ministry Team (Laurie Thomas, Cindy Farver, Kate Gray, Dawn Holt, Kim Krzic or Karen Rule) in person!
If there's something that you want to make happen for the women of First Christian Church and you've prayed about answering that call, fill out a Ministry Proposal. Don't worry if you can't answer everything, we can help you fill in those blanks.
If you only have an idea, try our Short Ministry Proposal!
Email firstchristianWM@gmail.com if you have any questions. Just give your Ministry Proposal to a member of the Women's Ministry Team to get started!
